HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Darius, my longest serving friend turned 50 last week, so we had a party. We have been through a lot together, nearly 30 years of it. There have been highs and lows, laughter and tears, but we have never argued. It would, on such a special day, have been quite fitting to get preposterously drunk but a civilised lunch with many old friends was the order of the day. It was held at the Drapers Arms in Islington (and a very nice place it was too ). I was in the photographers seat and here are the pic's.

Ronnie is clearly shocked by the size of the bill !
