HEAVENLY GHOSTS IN THE CHAPEL ?

Well, Cherry Ghost are signed to Heavenly Recordings and they played to a full house last night at the Union Chapel, Islington. The Union Chapel is a very, very special setting to see your favorite band.

Simon Aldred, without the band, but with a string quartet, plucked his way through the opening number, "My god betrays".... truly, wonderfully, haunting.

....on came the band but instead of cranking it up they kept it very laid back with a slight melancholy twist.

All tracks were quite different from how they normally play them.
They had obviously adjusted the set to suit the chapel.
